Privacy policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026. This policy summarizes our practices for enterprise procurement and security reviews. Executed client agreements may contain additional or superseding terms.
Introduction and scope
This Privacy Policy describes how USTechie, Inc. and its affiliated entities (“USTechie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information in connection with our websites, marketing activities, events, and the delivery of professional services where we act as a controller or business under applicable law.
If you are a representative of an enterprise client, additional privacy terms may be governed by your master services agreement, statements of work, and data processing agreements. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and an executed contract, the contract controls for that engagement.
Personal information we collect
We may collect identifiers and professional information such as name, business email address, telephone number, job title, employer name, and industry. We collect commercial information when you engage us for services, request proposals, or register for events—including billing details where you purchase paid offerings.
We automatically collect internet and electronic network activity when you use our websites, such as IP address, device type, browser type, referring URLs, and pages viewed. We may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Notice.
When you attend virtual or in-person events, we may collect audio or video where permitted, chat transcripts, and Q&A content. Where we record sessions, we provide notice and obtain consent where required.
Sources of personal information
We collect information directly from you when you submit forms, correspond with us, or contract for services. We also receive information from your organization when it designates you as a billing contact, technical contact, or project participant.
We may obtain professional information from public sources such as corporate websites, regulatory filings where publicly available, and reputable data providers for marketing and client development purposes, subject to applicable law and any contractual restrictions.
How we use personal information
We use personal information to operate our business: to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, execute contracts, deliver professional services, invoice and collect payment, and provide client support. We use information to secure our systems, detect fraud, and protect the safety of individuals.
We use business contact information for marketing communications about services, events, and thought leadership where permitted. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in each message or by contacting us as described below.
We analyze website usage in aggregate or de-identified form to improve usability, measure campaign effectiveness, and plan product and service offerings. Where required, we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies and similar technologies.
Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we process personal information on the basis of contract (to perform services you or your organization request), legitimate interests (to secure our networks, develop our business, and communicate with corporate contacts in ways they would reasonably expect), legal obligation, or consent where required.
You may object to certain processing based on legitimate interests as described in the “Your rights” section. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
Disclosure of personal information
We disclose personal information to service providers who perform functions on our behalf—such as hosting providers, email delivery vendors, customer relationship management platforms, and payment processors—pursuant to contracts that require appropriate security and limited use.
We may disclose information within our corporate family of affiliates for internal administration, security, and service delivery. We may disclose information to professional advisers such as lawyers and auditors under confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of USTechie, our clients, or others. We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.
International transfers
USTechie operates globally. Personal information may be transferred to countries other than the country in which it was collected, including to the United States, where privacy laws may differ.
Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or UK Information Commissioner’s Office, supplementary measures where appropriate, and other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and legal, contractual, or operational requirements.
Client engagement records may be retained for periods consistent with statutory limitations periods, audit requirements, and professional standards applicable to consulting firms.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure; we encourage you to use secure channels when sending sensitive information.
Access to personal information within USTechie is limited to personnel and contractors with a business need to know, subject to confidentiality obligations.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to receive a portable copy. You may have the right to object to certain processing and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know categories of information collected, to delete personal information subject to exceptions, and to opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.
To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. We may verify your request consistent with applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent where permitted, with appropriate authorization.
Children’s privacy
Our services and websites are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 for marketing purposes. If you believe we have collected information from a child inappropriately, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material and consent is required, we will obtain consent as appropriate.
